| Heylo,
Okay so I know this entry is quite long overdue...so brace yourselves for a very long but hopefully somewhat interesting update.
So...summer. Yay. I haven't done anything academic in the past week, I feel quite bad. I mean, I'll probably go back to school all stupid after two months of not doing anything. Well last week I did do this internship thing, except it was all rather boring and I didn't really do anything except...pick up the phone, and that turned out to be a disaster because I never knew how to operate the stupid thing, I couldnt transfer calls and I never ever want to go back again. So depressing. I could never be a secretary. My other task was folding up invoices, putting them into envelopes, sealing them, and lastly sticking a stamp onto them. That actually wasnt too bad.
Anyways, I just finished watching <Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights> with Christine, who by the way, I've been seeing like 3 times a week.

And....

Anyways, those are like the only pics I have with her. I should really start taking more pictures.
But, back to Dirty Dancing. I know I'm probably the only person who took this long to watch it but ahh it was such a good movie, so cute, but kind of upsetting near the end. I thought they were gonna like end up together or whatever...

Awww look how cute he is. Sadly, he's engaged...to Emma Mayfield. I tried googling her, didn't really come up with any results.
I've been watching a lot of movies lately. Last Monday I watched <The Devil Wears Prada> which was pretty good, exceeded my expectations actually. Lots of pretty clothes in it. And then on Friday I went to see <Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest>. I thought it was good, but a bit confusing. Orlando Bloom looks nothing, NOTHING like Bootstrap Bill who has a starfish stuck onto the side of his face by the way. I don't know why people in the first movie are always like "You look exactly like your father". Because he doesnt. But Johnny Depp was really good, again. And then...yesterday I watched <Charlie and the Chocolate Factory> which was just upsetting, not because the movie was bad, I thought it was cute, but because Johnny Depp looked like this:
Instead of this:

It's amazing what some make-up and hair extensions can do.
Hm...so grade 11 next year. It seems like such a big step, and its probably going to be the toughest year. And then after, its grade 12, and then we're off to university! Urgh...Anyways, since everyone's posting up their classes, I might as well too, tell me if you're in any of my classes!
{Block A} - French 12 AP {Block B} - History 12 {Block C} - Chemistry 11a {Block D} - Math 12a {Block E} - Planning 10B {Block F} - Physics 11a {Block G} - English 11/12 {Block H} - Spansh 11
Hmm...They look quite hard now actually. What have I gotten myself into...
What else has been happening lately. Oh, World Cup! I'm not the biggest fan, but I did get quite interested this year. I wanted France to win this year, I guess mainly cause I lived there. Too bad they didnt. But nonetheless they did quite well this year. Sadly, I didnt get to watch the game, I was at the beach with Christine...promoting One Day (www.onedayvancouver.ca) which is "An initiative set by the City of Vancouver to reduce energy consumption by taking small steps." If anyone's interested (and I doubt it), I could add you to the newsletter which goes out every month...because...Christine and I didn't really get any promoting done today. And I feel quite bad, because we ARE getting paid 12 dollars an hour, which is quite a lot, so...if anyone wants to help out by just signing up for the newletter (which is only ONCE a month, totally spam and charge free), it would be much appreciated! I mean, it's for the good of Vancouver. Plus, I don't want to get fired. We only managed to get TWO e-mails during our TWO hours at the beach. Its technically not really our fault, we tried last time, and got rejected so many times. Like...rejection after rejection, because people thought we were trying to sell them something, when in reality we were only trying to help people become more environmentally aware. Kind of discouraging...
Oh goodness, I just realized how long this entry was. Okay, well I hope everyone has a great summer. I'm volunteering at a disability center for the next two weeks and then I'll be at Harvard taking a course starting from July 23rd until August 19th, so if anyone's gonna be in the Boston area during that time, gimme a call! Chances are, I'll have nothing to do since classes are only three hours each day, and we get to do whatever after class.
Oh! Here's my addy for over there:
Angela Wang Harvard Summer School 1829 Harvard Yard Mail Center Cambridge, MA 02138-7508
So...if any of you are bored, you can send me mail! And bday presents (Aug. 16th for those of you who are unaware)! Jkjk, but it is nice to get actual mail. Or you can call, 1-617 - 493 - 3835.
After I'll be back in Vancouver for like, two days then I'm going to Beijing! So...if anyone's in Beijing during that time...I doubt it though, cause its so close to school. I get back the DAY before school starts, urghhh I'll probably still be so jetlagged. But I'm excited to go back, its been like...7 months!
Haha okay, I'll end this update with some sticker pics I took a couple weeks ago with Jeff. Which, by the way, I SCANNED onto my computer. I've never used my scanner before! Took me quite a long time, taking out the instruction manual and all.

My arm is actually not that long...

Anyways, I'm gonna go now, this took quite a long time. Kisses, byyyye!

{Edit}
At Harvard now...quite depressing. The stupid flight was long and tedious, and I nearly lost my baggage. Lets hope class isn't too bad tomorrow. (My phone number changed btw. Look above)

Harvard Yard (where our dorms are).
I miss home. =(

| Hey,
Well it's been a while since my last update. Not much has happened...actually thats a lie, stuff has happened, I just dont feel like going into full detail about it all :P. Gosh, I really need to start updating more.
Third term already, this year's passed by fast hasnt it? I mean, I'm already about...1/4 through my time at Crofton :P And there's only like two more months until the end of this year and then...summer =D I still dont know what I'm doing though, and I'm feeling rather dejected seeing as how the St. Georges summer camp thing still hasnt called me. I guess I'm just not wanted over there But I've only just handed in my form last Friday...still, they should have gotten it. It's quite distressing .
School has been generally going quite well except Math. I still dont understand proofs, honestly, I dont see why we need to know them. Gahhh and I still havent done my retest. Oh my god, what do I do, proofs are ruining my life >.<;
Ack, well there's not much else to say except it's quite upsetting how so many people *hint* are dropping Spanish next year and at this rate by grade 12 we'll be reduced to a class of like..six people. Oh, and my mother's mad at me now for reasons I can't fathom, well thats a lie too, I know why, but they're stupid reasons and I dont want to elaborate. Gah, she's so...prying. But it's okay, I guess it could be worse.
Well since I dont like my posts to be without pics cause they're boring...here are some I took about 2 hours ago with Jeff. :)

Ahahaha okay I look retarded in most of these. And they look the same almost...but...to change things up a little bit...

Here's one of just me :D Yes I know, its a cool photo isnt it? I just have that much spare time on my hands...(yes i've corrected that sentence thanks to hils =D)
Haha, well for those of you who've been pestering me to update, now I have. Laterrrss!

| Hey,
Well, I'm finally updating after like...a really long time. But whenever I update I feel obliged to write this really long entry...and I never really have time to, which is why I keep procrastinating. But anyways...just a brief summary of what I did the past month.
I went back to Beijing on like...the 19th of Dec. or something. And omg, I had such a good time there. I saw a buncha people from my old schools and stuff, plus Kimmie was there too so we went shopping quite a bit. I mean, Beijing's a fun place to live...theres so much going on and stuff...I really didnt want to leave. We also went to Hainan for new years, which is this really tropical place in the south of China. The weather was really nice, and the water was like warm enough to swim in. But I actually really dont like swimming in ocean water that much. I mean, what if a tsunami occurs? Or like...all of a sudden the waves pull you under and you die or something? I know the probability of that occuring isnt really that likely, but still... Oh, there was also this really weird fish pool thing at my hotel. There were actually little fish swimming in this hot tub and you could go inside and like...i dunno, sit there while they swim around. Frankly, I thought it was disgusting cause there was all this crap everywhere, and there were actually dead fish in there, but surprisingly some people actually got in. On new year's we went to this party, but it was like all in Russian, and we counted down in Russian and all that so I sorta actually missed the whole thing cause I thought they were just chanting but it was still pretty fun. BUt overall Hainan was quite good, my friend Richard was there too so it wasnt too boring and all. Haha, sorry bout the tennis incident >.<
We came back to Vancouver about a week after and school started 2 weeks ago. Gosh, can you believe half the year's like gone almost? We only have one Planning class left. I'm 1/6th through my time here at Crofton! And we have Spring break in like...a month and a half. Which isnt that far away considering how we have mid-term break coming up and all that...too bad I'll be stuck here the whole time though.
Anyways, last weekend I went to VMUN, which overall was a pretty good experience. We got there on Thursday after school and checked into the hotel. I was put into the same room as Kelley and SeSong. The hotel was pretty nice actually, except for the elevators which refused to function unless you inserted your key into the slot after the door had been closed and pressed the button, which was quite annoying since for the first two days I kept sticking in my key the wrong way. But, apart from that it was okay...I mean the shampoo and conditioner wasnt that bad, and they left chocolates on the bed at night too lol. Committee was okay, we didnt do much except for decide on which topic and stuff. Tina and Tiff were in my committee so that was good. On Friday we had to get up so freakin early...for some reason everyone in my room woke up at 6. But at least we didnt have to fight for the shower. For breakfast we went to Starbucks and then went to committee...
...okay you know what I just realized? I dont think I really want to go into detail about the whole four days there. So um I'm just gonna sum it up. Friday I went to the sessions, didnt talk for fear of being viciously torn apart by the more experienced mun people, and at night went to poker night for like 10 minutes, then got ready for bed but was rudely awakened by the phone. Apparently we had an crisis and all had to go back to the committee room. Woke up bitterly, and went downstairs without my key only to be told that I couldnt wear my pajamas. Had to go up to change, found out I didnt have keys, went down to borrow keys, went up, changed, went down, returned keys, went to committee. Stayed up until 4 am, and by then, I wasnt in the best of moods. But in the end, we finally managed to get to sleep and woke up at 10 or so. Saturday I skipped most of committee, but then rushed back after Tina called me and said I had to come back....which wasnt true because like noone had even noticed I had gone. But decided to stay anyways...had dinner at the Keg, then went to the 'dance'. Left the dance at like 10 30 because no one was there, and went to 5 flags with some people. Came back to the hotel, slept, woke up, went to committee late, then to the closing ceremonies. Overall, I had fun at VMUN, and I met some people so that was fun...I wont write names just in case my memory fails me and I forget someone and they find it offensive lol. Too bad we'll have to wait another year...but there'll be other MUN's.
Okay now for some pics...I actually didnt take any except for these cause I'm just too damn lazy to.

Tina during committee session...

Me and Kelley when she came over to visit us...doesnt she look pretty?

Me taking a random pic of myself....

Our committee room...I actually didnt like the round tables, I would have prefered a rectangle or something...

Tiffany...omg I think she looks so cute in this pic.
Anyways, thats like...all the pics I'm gonna bother to post. Well, I better submit this entry before a virus attacks my comp and I end up not updating ever again out of spite.

| Hey y'all...
Anyways this is gonna be my last entry before China!! I'm leavin tomorrow at like...12 40 or so. It'll be so nice to be back and all, and I'll definitely go buy loads of stuff. My suitcase is only half full cause I plan to like buy everything. I didnt pack a single pair of running shoes or anything lol. I'm getting loads of DVD's too...if any of you want a DVD's tell me and I'll try to get it for you. Or I'll get it and you can burn it or something lol.
So, school's over. First term's gone...passed by pretty quick dontcha think? I mean, another 8 of these terms and then I'm off to uni. I still havent gotten my report card, and I'm really glad cause now I wont have to spend my whole break listening to my parents rant on about how crappy my grades were...well for Math at least. I did pretty bad on exams too though, which sucked.
Oh, on a slightly happier note, I went to watch Memoirs of a Geisha on Fri with some people. It was an awesome movie, not as good as the book, but still awesome. Pride and Prejudice was good too...their like my favourite movies now lol. And I finally got around to watching White Oleander yesterday...such a great movie, and the book was incredible. Omg...why are all the movies I watch based on books?
Well, I'm gonna go to bed now, cause I still have so much packing to do tomorrow lol. Hope you all have a great winter break! Have fun at the family ball for those who are going!
And Happy Birthday Saya and Jurei! Finally 16! Love you guys...and Camis, happy belated b-day! Hope your havin an awesome time in Brazil!
